Dolce & Gabbana Animalier Spring & Summer 2011 Collection: Fashionably Four Eyed

Dolce & Gabbana, fashion house and Naomi Campbell have joined together for this beautiful advertisement for the 2011 Dolce & Gabbana Animalier Eyewear collection. It makes perfect sense Miss Naomi is indeed easy on the eye.

Dolce & Gabbana Animalier Eyewear collection

Having become a signature of the Dolce&Gabbana brand over the years, the Animalier print sets the tone for the new Spring/Summer 2011 sunglass and optical collections.

The sunglasses collection includes three models ranging from a more masculine, aviator style to Sixties-inspired and rounded silhouettes, all expressed through a precious color palette of poppy red, slate blue, purple orchid, yellow ochre and sapphire.

The lens tints blend perfectly into the color of the frames. The acetate frames with Animalier front feature a monochromatic profile for a playful contrast of colors and patterns. The Dolce&Gabbana logo embellishes the temple, while a gold plaque decorates the inside of the temple end.

The ad campaign features Naomi Campbell shot against a balmy Mediterranean backdrop by photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

I know right. Drea, that first image is what sparked. The entire article. Like she refuses to age. She gives the young models a run for their money, seriously.
