Cinco de Mayo tea party marks the opening of Vivian’s Locker, a consignment shop specializing in vintage wear in Charles Village

Baltimore, MD April 2012 – Owner/Stylist Trinya Smith, (affectionately known as Ms. T), debuts her vintage boutique VIVIAN’S LOCKER on Saturday May 5, 2012 from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a “Street Tea Party”. Much like her grandmother who is the namesake for the shop that hangs on the fringe of the Charles Village Arts and Cultural district, Ms.T invites everyone to come enjoy a cup of tea. The event will be held at 132 West 25th Street in Baltimore, MD. The Street Tea Party will celebrate the Grand Opening of Vivian’s Locker, a thrift boutique in Charles Village.

Get a sneak peek of this small space with big goals!

Ms. T is a long-time advocate who plans to develop a youth internship for some of Baltimore’s students interested in social justice entrepreneurship. Community development is one of her strongest passions and Vivian’s Locker will be a space that cultivates creative expression and positive growth.

This family friendly event will highlight some of the most talented performers in Baltimore, good food, raffles, one of a kind fashion, and more! The little shop with a little of everything, shoppers can find apparel, jewelry, shoes, art, books and music from independent artists, household items and more. Prices range from $1 to $100 so that even the thriftiest fashionistas can snag one-of-a-kind pieces.

It appears to be a nice establishment from the way it’s described on the press release they sent me. If I’m ever in the Baltimore area I’d like to go there to shop.
