Amar’e Stoudemire To Design A Menswear Line

New York Knicks Power Forward Amar’e Stoudemire has long been on a trajectory toward establishing a career in fashion. He has become a mainstay on the front row at Fashion Week runway shows (next to Anna Wintour no less). Amar’e designed a collaboration with Rachel Roy and was featured in American Vogue’s April 2011 issue.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that the Florida native has dreams of launching his own menswear line, as he divulged to WWD at Calvin Klein’s rooftop party in Milan. Amar’e hasn’t released details about the timing or aesthetic of the collection yet, but if his wardrobe of tailored suits in neutral hues is any indication, it should be a hit.
