Skin care Regimines:Baking Soda? Basil and Lemon Brew?

Hey Lovies

Today I have another informational post for you all not just for women, but men as well. I know some of you may struggle with acne problems and blemish marks that you wish you could take an eraser and make them disappear, because I feel the same way when it comes to my skin. Lol.

The struggle! When you think you have found something that works but then a few weeks later it seems as if the bacteria has found away to fight against the solution you found. lol. Well as I was doing a little searching on my facebook I came across a page called Derma Skin Care and they have lots of skin care recipes that is so simple to make and use. The recipes I came across was the Baking Soda method, as well as the Basil and Lemon Brew.

Baking soda can be use to gently Exfoliate and Lift Dark Spots. Suffering from acne and discoloration due to acne baking soda could help. Baking Soda is a alkaline that neutralizes the skin acidity while cleaning the skin without taking away from the natural oils. The tiny grain like particles can help scrub away dead skin cells and lift discolor from skin over time.

Now there is not really a recipe for this no measurements needed for this your just going to wet your face then take some baking soda and rub it over your face, more like massage it. A lady who commented on the post said for about 3 minutes or whatever you think is a good time for you.

Also I found on Dermera Skin Care on facebook Basil and Lemon if brewed can help with acne Large pores, and blemishes. THe Basil is great for skin prone to acne. It has calcium, iron, and vitamin K. The basil reduces acne due to high anti inflammatory properties as well as anti bacterial properties can help diminish  by acne killing the bacteria that causes it to form under the skin.

Basil & Lemon Brew

Lemon contains vitamin C and can be used as a natural bleaching method. Not harmful at all but it helps to make the skin brighter, clearer, and reduce the size of pores and acne scars less noticeable.

How it works is you take a large bushel of fresh basil wash them and then put them into boiling water. Once the water begings to turn slightly green remove the leaves with a strainer and pour the basil “juice” into a bowl then place the bowl into the refrigerator to let it cool. Once the basil “juice is cool add 2 table spoons of lemon. This can be used orally like a tea, BUT it says you might want to add a tablespoon of honey to naturally sweeten it. You can drink the “juice” 1-2 times a day.

To use it on the skin take some cotton balls and dip them and then apply to clean skin.  You can appky the “juice” to your whole face or just areas that have acne large pores, or acne scars. You will do this once a day and it will remove bacteria build up, dirt, and oil from the pores. DO NOT rinse it of let it soak into you pores and do its magic. lol

Now I have not tried these recipes myself but I do intend to use them soon. When I do I will be back with my review, I have a few lemons I can go to the store and get the fresh basil tomorrow. Also remember the Baking Soda is a seperate method. I don’t know what will happen if you do both in the same day, my suggestion would be wait a week if you try the basil and lemon brew method or if you use the baking soda method.

I hope you all found this information to be helpful if anyone has tried these methods please share your opinions they are more than welcomed.

Until next time

Peace and Blessings
